EV 101: AN INTRO TO ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN TECHNOLOGY

We are excited to announce we are hosting our very first course! Introducing EV 101, an introduction to electric powertrain technology, a comprehensive day-long course that promises to electrify your understanding of EVs. EV 101 will take place on Tuesday, April 23 at RCLUB Toronto from 9am to 5pm.

SCR1 SHOWCASED AT CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW

From February 16 to February 25, the Scalar Performance SCR1 was showcased at the Canadian International Auto Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the Electric City section, alongside many other interesting electric builds. The show saw 370,000 people over the course of the week, and the SCR1 undoubtedly turned quite a few heads.

Joel Fallaise, co-founder, had the opportunity to explore the showroom floor during media day, which took place the day before the event opened to the general public. He offered us an exclusive preview of the most impressive electric vehicles (EVs) displayed at the show. Highlights included the reveal of the brand-new Infiniti Vision Qe and the 2023 Ram Revolution Concept pickup truck.

FORD F250 EV SWAP SERIES PART 2 LIVE ON YOUTUBE

The wait is finally over! Part 2 of our electrifying three-part series, where we transform a Ford Super Duty F250 to an EV, is now here!

Dive into the electrification journey as we walk you through the integration of electric vehicle components, connecting both low and high voltage, preparing the vehicle for battery installation, and, as you might have anticipated, the actual battery installation. Part 3 is coming very soon, where you will be brought along on a test drive in the vehicle! Part 2 of the series covers all the groundwork that has allowed us to reach a point where the wheels can finally turn. Keep an eye out for the series finale!

SERVICING THE FDF CORVETTE FOR THE UPCOMING DRIFT SEASON

The Scalar team had a surprise visit at the shop this week. Josiah Fallaise brought in the FDF Corvette for maintenance and upgrades in preparation for the forthcoming drift season. The Corvette spent a week in the shop, during which the team installed underglow lighting, mounted brake light strips on the car's roof, repaired the power steering pump's wiring, integrated live telemetry into the vehicle, among other enhancements! Keep an eye out for a detailed video arriving soon on our YouTube channel.
